I have signed up to Summerfete's block party to make a fabulous paper pieced quilt. It is so beautiful I couldn't resist and having review the Block Party book last week!
If you'd like to join in go over to Summerfete's blog where all will be explained. The templates caused me the most angst and J ended up doing the geometry (using this helpful photograph)! My hexagons are quite large (the squares are 1cm)
I haven't decided on my fabrics, I've thought about fabrics from the West Indies collection by Jennifer Paganelli or Silent Cinema by Jenean Morrison. Are you taking part in this quilt along?

Hi, yes I've been thinking about joining in on this challenge. I'm still undecided about choice of fabrics. I'm wondering if I can be as brave as Clare and use quite diverse fabrics. I will have to give it more thought, and find some squared paper for the templates. It will be fun to see how everyone gets on with it.

It sounds fun but I`m not sure - I have so much to do already!
