Yesterday I popped into Peter Jones for thread and what should I see but lots of Amy Butler, Joel Dewbury and other quilting fabrics in the sale and they had just been marked down a second time to £5.38 a meter. So my fabric choice for the Summerfete's block party was decided very quickly, I chose 5 fabrics from Amy Butler's Love collection. I assume this is the same for all John Lewis branches that stock the fabric.
There was also a small range of sewing baskets in her fabrics there. Now to transfer the paper pattern pieces onto card, thought I'd glue the paper onto card and use them as templates. Hope that works.

Oh shoot! I don`t think you can buy fabric online...love your fabric choices Ruth. Well I love Amy Butler! BTW, I love also that you can pop into your LQS (Peter Jones) for thread!
Oh wow! Great fabric choices. I love going to John Lewis/Peter Jones. Have you been to new(ish) habberdashery department in John Lewis, Oxford Street?
